Super Junior's Siwon gained some buzz online after being the first Korean artist to attract at least one million followers on social network site Twitter. On the 11th of December, Siwon's Twitter account revealed to have at least 1,010,891 followers.
However, a Korean website named "Korean Tweeter" further revealed that Siwon is the second Korean personality to achieve a million following, with famed novelist Lee Oisoo in the top spot.
The website further revealed that other Super Junior members such as Donghae, Heechul, Leeteuk, Yesung, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun all belong to the Top 50 Koreans with the most followers on Twitter.
Just this week, US news website Mashable revealed that Super Junior ranked fourth on the top trending artists in 2011, joining Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and The Jonas Brothers on the charts.
