Solo singer IU has once again proved her popularity in the mainstream Korean music market. IU recently came back with her second studio album, "Last Fantasy." Within minutes of the album's release on online music sites, numerous tracks took over the charts.

Known as the "nation's little sister," IU has held the top spots on the charts this year many times, including the last two consecutive weeks with "You & I." Additionally, in the beginning of the year, IU dominated the charts with her hit title track, "Good Day," which held the top charts on multiple online music charts for many weeks.

A representative of online music site Soribada commented, "IU's "You & I" was on top of the charts for both the week ending on December 4th and the week ending on December 10th, two consecutive weeks." He also mentioned that her other songs "Uncle," "Secret," "Sleeping Prince," and "Holding A Star In My Heart" were ranked in the top 20 for two consecutive weeks, demonstrating that IU's popularity has not cooled down.

On Soribada, IU's "You & I" currently sits at the number 4 spot. Newly formed unit group Trouble Maker (BEAST's Hyunseung (JS) and 4minute's Hyuna) rose 30 spots to the number 2 position with their hit title track, "Trouble Maker."

After five years, vocal group Noeul returned with their "Padam Padam" OST, "To Live," securing the third spot on the charts. They are also promoting their track, "Never Never," on the live music shows every week which is also ranked high on the charts. "To Live" currently holds the 6th spot on Soribada.

Additionally, the sad lyrics to 8eight's track "One Person" for the "A Thousand Days' Promise" OST helped it to climb a total of 52 spots allowing the song to settle in at number 8. Huh Gak's "I Told You I Want To Die" rose 3 spots to land at 14th, while Ulala Session's "Western Sky" rose five spots, ending up at number 15. Suzy's OST "A Lot of Tears" also rose five spots, leaving it in the number 16 position.

Electroboyz rose 14 spots with their track, "Ma Boy 2," allowing them to end up in the top 20, while Infinite landed at spot 18 with their winter themed track, "White Confession (Lately)."

Officials stated, "IU is set to continue her rising popularity as a trending artist, while drama OST's like Noeul's 'To Live,' 8eight's 'One Person', and Suzy's 'A Lot of Tears,' are also receiving good reactions."
