On December 13th, SMTOWN revealed their first Winter album in four years. The album titled "2011 SMTOWN Winter 'The Warmest Gift'" consists of a total of eleven tracks. Each of the SM Entertainment artists contributed to a song on the album.
Seven of the album's track are new Winter tracks, while the remaining four of them are covers. Kangta, BoA, TRAX, THE GRACE DANA & SUNDAY, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and f(x) recorded new Winter-themed tracks, while TVXQ, SHINee, Zhang Liyin, and J-min recorded covers.
The title track for the album is "Santa U Are The One" by Super Junior along with Henry and Zhou Mi from Super Junior M. To promote the title track, SM Entertainment decided to release a music video for "Santa U Are The One." "Santa U Are The One" is an upbeat pop track capturing the joy that kids feel around Christmas time thanks to Santa.
