SMTOWN releases "2011 SMTOWN Winter 'The Warmest Gift'"

On December 7th, SM Entertainment revealed that they would be releasing a new SMTOWN Winter album for the first since 2007. On the 13th of December, the album was released. The album is titled "2011 SMTOWN Winter 'The Warmest Gift'" and includes songs from Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, TRAX, THE GRACE DANA & SUNDAY, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), Zhang Li Yin and J-min.

The album consists of eleven songs. Seven of the tracks are new Winter-themed tracks, while four are covers. The title track, "Santa U Are The One," is recorded by Super Junior and also features Henry and Zhou Mi of Super Junior M. TVXQ covered "Sleigh Ride" for the album, while SHINee covered "Last Christmas.

Girls' Generation recoded a new track titled "Diamond" for the album while f(x) recorded another new track, "1,2,3," produced by Peppertones.

BoA lent her voice for the track "Distance," which is an R&B ballad showcasing her vocal power. Kangta also lent his voice for a ballad track on the album. Kangta's track is titled "For the First Time."

Rounding out the album are an English version of TRAX's "Like A Dream" and a cover of "The First Noel" sung by Zhang Liyin. THE GRACE DANA & SUNDAY’s pop ballad "Amazing" and J-Min’s cover of "Happy X-Mas" also made their way onto the album.
