On November 29th, the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards, otherwise known as MAMA, aired worldwide and was not only broadcast on several channels in Asia, but online live as well for fans worldwide to tune in. The award show took place in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the first time, where some of the hottest stage were performed.
Mnet is set to air a 3-hour special of the MAMA awards titled "Best of 2011 MAMA" on December 18th at 8PM EST/5PM PST. International fans will also be able to catch the 3-hour special online, as it will be streamed live via MnetUSA's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MnetUSA).
The special encore will include behind-the-scenes clips including interviews, rehearsals and exclusive backstage access. Mnet's "Hello Pop!" VJ Chrissa Villanueva, who also attended the 2011 MAMA in Singapore and was the main English VJ during the red carpet, will be hosting the 3-hour special.
Fans who catch "Best of 2011 MAMA" live on Sunday, December 18th will be able to get their hands on the exclusive bonus footage only available on MnetUSA's Facebook page. Throughout the live broadcast, special codes will be revealed that can be used to unlock the "secret clips."
