U-Kiss was awarded the Best Male Idol Group Award
at the 19th annual Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards ceremony. The
awards show took place at the 63 City Convention Center in Yeouido,
Seoul on December 15th. Seventy Hallyu Wave entertainers were awarded
with prizes. The awards were decided through online poll voting as well
as professional experts in the entertainment industry in Korea. So Jisub
was one of the winners who got a notable award for his acting. Girl
group Blady was awarded the Best Newcomer Award who after debuting back
in July of 2011.
U-Kiss made their thank-you speech through their agency for their Best Male Idol Group award. They thanked everyone for the award and promised to work even harder and become an even greater K-Pop group. The award show is set to be aired on December 18th on cable channel KBSN.
U-Kiss is currently becoming a successful Hallyu Wave group in Japan. This is due to their success from their explosive track "Tick Tack." The song achieved third place on the Oricon chart on the day of their debut release. The group is currently continuing their Japanese promotions until they release their second single as well as their album in February of 2012.
