IU is preparing to make her Japanese debut early next year and has set a location and date for her debut Japanese showcase. IU signed a contract with EMI Music Japan for her Japanese activities and released her Japan licensed album for "I □ U" today, which ranked 7th on the daily album chart on its first day.
According to EMI Music Japan, IU will be the youngest Korean singer to stand on the stage of Tokyo's Bunkamura Orchard Hall on January 24th, where she will hold her showcase titled "IU Japan Premium 'Special Live.'"
Meanwhile, IU recently released her 2nd Korean studio album titled "Last Fantasy" and is promoting her title song "YOU&I." IU is prepared to release her 1st Japanese single in February 2012.
