To celebrate winning their 2 awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2011 (MAMA), Girls' Generation performed a special stage on this week's M! Countdown. As a way of thanking all their devoted fans who voted for their crown tirelessly in the weeks leading up to the awards show, the group decided to prepare a special performance tonight.
The group won MAMA 2011's Artist of the Year and Best Female Group, beating out popular label-mates TVXQ and Super Junior and YG's 2NE1. Performing their Japanese single, "MR. TAXI" in Korean, the girls certainly did not disappoint fans.
